
For the plenty already planned for Monster Hunter this year running off a high-note with the titular film which debuted in the box office back in December, Capcom is preparing the next mainline release later this month. Monster Hunter Rise is arriving exclusively to Nintendo Switch at the end of March. But, the game is also said to arrive in the following year to PC as well.
Atop of that, Capcom alongside the announcement of Monster Hunter Rise also unveiled another exciting release – Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. The follow-up to the beloved Nintendo 3DS game is originally said to arrive in summer 2021. Now in a new trailer, Capcom verifies its mid-year release.
In addition to the newly slated launch date, Capcom also verifies a PC release via Steam is also expected this coming July also. You can watch the latest trailer in the video below:
“Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin offers both RPG and Monster Hunter fans a unique new experience with a rich storyline featuring charming characters, challenging quests and friendly encounters with familiar monsters from the Monster Hunter series,” the synopsis reads from Nintendo’s eShop listing.
“Assuming the role of a young Monster Rider who can use a Kinship Stone to form strong bonds with monsters, players can gain experience and improve their skills to form deeper connections with these wonderful creatures. When ready, players can embark on memorable adventures filled with dramatic events and heartwarming friendships as the epic tale unfolds.”
