In the stretch of announcements that continue to roll out leading to this June, fans are growing more excited as to what their favorite companies are to reveal. So far, Ubisoft announced its coming Ubisoft Forward on June 12. Additionally, Microsoft announced the upcoming Xbox-Bethesda joint showcase the following day on June 13.

At the start of the planning for this massive event this year, the Electronic Software Association (ESA) paved the way for 2021’s digital show by featuring firms like Capcom, Nintendo, Take-Two Interactive, and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to be present. In a later announcement, the roster grew to include Bandai Namco, Sega, Square Enix, and xSeed Games.

According to the ESA on Tuesday, this year’s E3 is to be followed by a separate E3 Awards Show that will be held a couple days following the titular event in mid June.

For this year’s event, we are collaborating with editors at some of the world’s leading video game media outlets to create the Official E3 2021 Awards Show, recognizing the show’s most anticipated games. The broadcast is going to be packed with exciting announcements and reveals, and celebrating innovative publishers and developers is an ideal way to close E3 2021.

Additionally, it is disclosed that that many awards, namely the ‘Most Anticipated’ will be featured in the coming awards show. Noted, hosts Greg Miller, Jacki Jing and Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez are to present throughout E3 in the coming days. But, it is unclear if the three will also host in the show following the main E3 Broadcast.

In June as well, it was previously revealed that Geoff Keighley will be hosting Summer Game Fest starting on June 10. Unlike the previous year, this year’s event is to be a singular show held by The Game Awards & Gamescom Opening Night host. You can read the full report by heading here.
