The RGG Summit has been busy today with multiple announcements of games in the Yakuza series. The first big announcement was Like a Dragon 8 launching in 2024 and the other one is Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. The game takes place after the events of Yakuza 6 leading up to Like a Dragon 8.

When it comes to this game you’ll have more of a classic Yakuza experience being action-adventure. It won’t be as big compared to a regular Like a Dragon game and it’s meant for those who are passionate about the series.

Like a Dragon Gaiden will be releasing in 2023 on Xbox One, Xbox Series XlS, PlayStation 4l5 and PC.
