NeatherRealm’s next game announcement won’t come this October 8

NetherRealm Studios fans will have to wait a little longer for their next game due to a tweet from Ed Boon himself. This Saturday, October 8th will mark 30 years of Mortal Kombat and fans were anticipating the new game announcement to be around then, but it was shut down the other day.

“Our next game announcement will be separate from MK30”

It’s hard to say if the next NRS game will be “Mortal Kombat 12” or it’s possible we get a new Injustice game since second game in that franchise launched five years ago already. That would make sense since this next game announcement is taking place outside the Mortal Kombat 30th anniversary.
