Starfield is set to release on September 6 from Bethesda and it’s coming to Xbox Series XlS and PC. Recently it was discovered that Starfield is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. That means if you buy the game digitally you will own it across both Xbox & PC and you’ll be able to have cross-platform saves.

This was first spotted by Idle Sloth on Twitter who recognized the new tag by Bethesda on the Xbox Store page. Starfield will launch on Xbox Series X running at 4K 30fps while PC can run the game at 4K 60fps. Todd Howard recently confirmed Starfield will have post-launch content that includes a major story expansion.

Starfield will not be releasing for PlayStation 5 since Microsoft acquired Bethesda. Originally, Starfield was planned to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, but Microsoft ended up acquiring the company knowing that was a possibility.
