Worms, the 2D turn-based artillery game series is getting its own Board Game or at least Team17 is trying to make it happen. Worms: The Board Game has gone live on Kickstarter with the goal of bringing the long-time video game franchise to your table in 2024.

Prepare for an ‘INCOMING!’ barrage of holy hand grenades, exploding sheep, and rocket launchers that will destroy kitchen, dining, and café tables around the world: Team17 Digital and Mantic Games have partnered to develop Worms: The Board Game, which will see the iconic invertebrates star in their debut tabletop game”

Mantic Games partnered up with Team17 to make this board game happen and they have a great track record of licensing and adapting popular brands into tabletop games. They’ve made board games for Hellboy, Mars Attacks, The Walking Dead, and others coming soon.

There are a few tiers that fans can sign up for and the cheapest pledge is the ‘Mayhem Pledge’ where you can buy for about $100 and receive Worms: The Board Game (Collector’s Edition) and All Daily Reveals.
