Nearly in October now, it is officially on the horizon for the send off of last year’s Call of Duty. In 2022, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II shipped welcoming the sequel to the reboot of Infinity Ward’s most beloved series in Call of Duty. Amid previous confusion & uncertainty with the transition from Warzone to Warzone 2.0, it was confirmed that the next entry – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – is to carry over your items and unlocks upon release.

And for good reason after three years prior that the same cannot be said. As for this past year, many would be even more disappointed if the same would not happen for new items. One of the coolest additions comes in the form of Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft which arrived earlier this summer. Even more, this holiday is shaping up to being even more eventful ahead of Halloween.

As part of Season 6 ‘The Haunting’, Activision & Infinity Ward confirms that Call of Duty is crossing the streams with Diablo. In that, both Icarus and Lilith are to be featured as Operator Bundles. “The Burning Hells arrives in Call of Duty. Diablo-themed Bundles make their fiery appearance, complete with the Queen of the Succubi Lilith and the fallen archangel Inarius as Operators,” the firm writes.

Noted, this is only one crossover that Activision/Infinity Ward is including for the Halloween enroute for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Additionally, Doom is also facing new in-game items with the classic “Chainsaw and a long-range Shotgun” as part of the ‘DOOM Tracer Weapon Bundle.’

One of the biggest showcases for Season 6 ‘The Haunting’ happens to be the addition of Spawn to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. “Operator Nikto favors a similar tactical look and impressive mask getup and takes it to the next level with this Spawn homage,” it reads for the description.
