The Xbox Games Showcase is happening on Sunday, June 9, 2024, and it will feature announcements on new games in development with Xbox Game Studios. It has been leaked that DOOM: The Dark Ages will be revealed at this showcase and is described as a ‘medieval inspired Doom world’. The surprising part is that this game will not just be an Xbox Series X|S release.

According to Insider, Nate The Hate, Doom: The Dark Ages will be announced as a “multiplatform release” meaning it will be coming to PlayStation 5.

Usually, we have to take reports like this with a grain of salt, but it was already leaked in the Microsoft vs FTC documents that a new DOOM was in development. And on top of that, Nate The Hate is a reliable insider and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see this Xbox first-party title come to PlayStation after recent moves.

The Xbox Games Showcase is going to feature a lot of new games including the newly announced, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. We will learn more about the future of Call of Duty when it has its direct right after the Xbox presentation.
