So far, Season 21 – Upheaval has been a mixed bag for Apex Legends players. While introducing a wildcard Legend Alter, the users are facing a brick wall in continued retention for the battle royale. Previously, Electronic Arts did comment that the live-service is searching for more avenues that expands beyond battle royale.

Additionally, with the addition of both solos mode as well as quads in the recent ‘Double Take Collection Event’, players still remain on the fence in the support Apex Legends is facing recently. To make matters worse, Respawn Entertainment revealed a new restructuring for its battle pass. Come Season 22, the battle pass will be split into two and exclusively requires real-time capital to purchase, not recycled Apex Coins.

Now amid the controversy, the developer is now rolling out its newest limited-time event for Apex Legends – Void Reckoning. From July 23rd to August 6th, players can engage in the new 12v12 Team Deathmatch mode. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“The invasion is upon us, Legends! Join the vanguard in the Void Reckoning Event and suit up for an all-out brawl in Big TDM, our first-ever 12v12 deathmatch. Slay your foes and earn Void Points in both BR and Big TDM to unlock new cosmetics and more in the Rewards Shop,” the event overview for Void Reckoning reads.

“What’s that old saying? Go big or go home? Well this Team Deathmatch variant is definitely not going home. Join 23 other players in a 12 v 12 brawl across 5 maps. Big TDM brings improved health regeneration and an increased score limit of 60. Pick your fav Legend and go do big things.”

What has you most excited for the Void Reckoning Event?

Apex Legends is out for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
