Treyarch and Activision have revealed more details for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s multiplayer including the game modes that will be available at launch. What was also announced is that a Theater Mode is coming to Black Ops 6 multiplayer at launch. This will be the first time we will see the Theater Mode in the new Call of Duty Engine.

Theater Mode lets you capture your recent moments and it will allow you to switch between First-Person, Third-Person, and a Fly-Cam perspective for all players in the match. The Theater Mode will only be available on current-generation consoles so users on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 cannot use this mode.

Here is an overview of the Black Ops 6 Theater Mode:

Switch between First-Person, Third-Person, and Fly-Cam perspectives for all players in the match.

Elimination and Deaths are visualized on the timeline. Easily skip to the viewed player’s next Elimination on the timeline.

Fast-Forward, Rewind, and full playback speed control.

Press “Record” to Trigger an Xbox or PlayStation recording while in Theater Mode.

Theater files expire after seven days or when a game update is released
