Sony Interactive Entertainment is planning for the Holiday season as they will be cutting the price of the PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition to $379.99 saving $70 off its normal $449.99 price. An advertisement went up early today that was spotted on YouTube where it shared the price cut.

Since it was noticed the advertisement has been taken down. The deal for the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will run through December 24, but the start date for the sale has yet to be announced. As it stands, the PS5 Slim Digital Edition is at its normal price of $449.99.

With Black Friday coming up in a couple of weeks we should expect this sale to go live any day now. If you are waiting for the perfect time to purchase a PlayStation 5, this might be the perfect opportunity.

This sale for the PlayStation 5 should boost its sales after Sony shared they have sold 65.5 million units since 2020. Recently, Sony Interactive Entertainment released the PlayStation 5 Pro which is priced at $699.99 while the PlayStation 5 Slim console is $499.99.
