Latest Online Speculation Points To Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas Remasters At Iron Galaxy

Last year marked the anniversary for Obsidian Entertainment’s Fallout New Vegas. Celebrating 15 years since its release, there was a museum exhibit at Las Vegas Atomic Museum in November. Not to mention the television series with season 2 which aired in December fully embracing New Vegas as the setting for the live-action show.

Other elements favoring the video game included the first season on Fallout Shelter ‘Viva New Vegas’ which went live around the same time as the show’s newest season airing. But in January, things got more real with a report that came from Windows Central. It was disclosed that plans to ship remasters for not only Fallout 3, but also Fallout New Vegas was in the works already.

And with excitement at an all-time high with the show’s impression still lingering alongside the report, new speculation has surfaced online that is drawing plenty of eyes recently. Over a week ago, developer Iron Galaxy Studios shared an image on X which many gather to be a hint at Fallout being its next project; the alleged remastered more specifically.

In the past, Iron Galaxy Studios has been a vital partner with Bethesda on release like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Nintendo Switch, Fallout 76 on Xbox One & PlayStation, and even Quake Champions for its PC release. So it is possible the team is handling a major project for the firm since its home is Xbox. After all, the team even managed the Xbox One launch title Killer Instinct as well.

What many are also confident in is the involvement of Tim Cain. The Fallout veteran recently confirmed that he is moved in to a new role at Obsidian Entertainment which is likely involved to some degree in the reported remastered projects. You can read the full report by heading here.
