In a busy week of new game releases Resident Evil 7 has topped the UK charts. The new first-person take on the Resident Evil franchise recorded the third best week one total for a Resident Evil game, a record currently held by 2009’s Resident Evil 5.
73 percent of the sales were on PlayStation 4 while on Xbox One it had 25 percent and PC had 2 percent of the sales.
Square’s Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter takes third, SEGA’s Yakuza 0 arrives in eighth, Bandai Namco’s Tales of Berseria is new at No.14, and Digimon World: Next Order begins chart life at No.24. All four are new releases only available on PS4.
