Rebellion, the developer of Sniper Elite, has announced a new IP today with their exotic adventure title Strange Brigade. It will be released for Xbox One, PS4 and PC soon with more information to be revealed at E3 next week.
In Strange Brigade, you play as one of four heroes each with their own individual abilities and weapons. There are remote corners of the British Empire where the supernatural lurks and the shadows linger, where few dare go and fewer return. In STRANGE BRIGADE you’ll encounter fantastic and forgotten civilizations shrouded in mystery, uncover treacherous tombs and test your wits against unfathomable foes. There appear to be tribesman, giant mythological and lots of other enemies awaiting us as we parachute onto this lost island.
Set in the 1930’s, it has sort of an Indiana Jones type of feeling to it. You can see it all in the reveal trailer below, and more information is to be revealed at E3. After developing Zombie Army Trilogy and Sniper Elite, it looks like Rebellion merged both games together with Strange Brigade. It borrows a lot of elements from both games while adding its own, unique content. We don’t get to see much in the trailer, but it’s enough to peak our interest heading inot E3 next week.
