Report: Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion has been dated for July 13th

Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion launches sometime this Summer, but the question is when will it happen exactly? Nintendo has yet to say. However, the German Facebook page for Splatoon may have let the cat out of the bag early.
For a brief while, an image appeared on the Facebook page showing a release date of July 13. Nintendo took down the image shortly after fans took notice.
We do know that the new Pearl and Marina amiibo are due for July 13, so having the Octo Expansion ready on the same day might make sense. This could be a mistake or an accidental announcement, but we will have to wait and see what Nintendo says soon.
