Apex Legends has been making some Battle Royal history as of late. In under 8 hours of release the game hit 1 million unique players and well, 72 hours later the game has hit 10 million across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Fortnite took two weeks to reach the 10 million players and we can assume it took longer for PUBG to hit that milestone in 2017 even though it has been a hit.

Vince Zampella ,who has been the CEO at Respawn Entertainment since the early days of Titanfall put out a thank you message on the official EA website:

“We hoped you’d love it as much as us, but never in our wildest dreams could we have expected the outpouring of support and positivity we’ve seen. From all of us at Respawn, thank you for giving us and Apex Legends a chance. Thank you for joining us on this journey. This is just the beginning! We have so much more in store for you this year.”

Expect Respawn to start deploying more updates to the game such as new legends, loot, and weapons. You can read our entire rundown of Apex Legends here.
