Starting today until this coming Saturday, users on Steam will have the opportunity to play up to twelve different games at no cost thanks to The Steam game Festival. Each title is still in active development and will not launch until sometime following the events of tonight’s Game Awards show in Los Angeles. In collaboration with the annual ceremony and Valve, players will have the chance to play some well-anticipated titles that have yet to hit the market just yet.

You can read the full list of games below:

  • Acid Knife
  • Carrion
  • Chicory: The Colorful Tale
  • Eastward
  • Haven
  • Heavenly Bodies
  • Moving Out
  • Roki
  • SkateBIRD
  • Spiritfarer
  • System Shock
  • The Drifter
  • Wooden Nickel

If any of the projects mentioned does catch your eye, make sure you download the game within the next two days as the respected demo will not be available past this Friday, December 13. Well, at least that’s what the timed video game promotion states on the surface: this online event actually phases out on Saturday at December 14th at 10 AM PST, the website reads.

Some of these titles might already look familiar like Moving Out which was announced earlier this year along with the most recent SkateBIRD which many users online have shared high praise for the half-piping parakeets. What game has your attention from the list?

The Game Awards will go live at 5:30 PM PST / 8:30 EST later this evening, December 12.
