arc raiders skill tree builds

Discover everything you need to know about the best skill tree builds in Arc Raiders, including how to allocate skill points.

Your character in Arc Raiders doesn’t just get better through gear, as you unlock ability perks and passive improvements. This allows you to customize your Raider’s strengths and playstyle as you level up.

While Conditioning increases stamina, resilience in combat, shield handling, and breach efficiency, the Mobility improves movement, sprinting, vaulting, stamina efficiency, and dodge rolls. Your distribution of points defines your build. Split points between trees to make a hybrid build in Arc Raiders.

How To Allocate Skill Points

skill points

You earn 1 skill point per level, up to 75 total points at max level in Arc Raiders. These points are spent in three trees: Mobility, Conditioning, and Survival. Skills have tiers and prerequisites, and some require you to invest a minimum number in that tree before unlocking certain nodes. Don’t rush to spend as soon as you get points.

Early investment in Mobility means you’ll be able to explore, fight, and loot more effectively. Make sure to switch to Survival if you want better looting, faster container reveals, and carry capacity. Unlock capstone nodes in your primary tree by achieving 36+ points in that tree.

PvP Skill Tree Build

Searching containers

The meta in PvP strongly favors mobility, stamina management, and movement skills that let you outmaneuver opponents. Make sure to maximize the movement, dodges, and stamina so you can flank enemies and disengage. Conditioning skills can help with reducing movement penalties from heavy gear and improving stamina regen while injured.

Stealth Loot Skill Tree Build

looting build

A stealth loot build focuses on maximizing loot efficiency, minimizing noise while searching and moving. The objective is to increase carrying capacity and avoid combat and extract safely. Silent Scavenger allows you to make less noise while looting, helping avoid alerting enemies. A few points in Marathon Runner or Youthful Lungs can help you move between loot spots faster.

Mobility Skill Tree Build

bastion

The Mobility build in Arc Raiders prioritizes the Mobility skill tree, enhancing sprint and stamina efficiency. This build is best for players who want speed, map control, and evasive playstyles. Most mobility builds put a large majority of points into the Mobility tree, then use any leftover points for light Conditioning. This mobility build allows you to dodge, slide, and reposition with low stamina costs.

Best Combat Skill Tree Build

Rattler

A Combat Build in Arc Raiders prioritizes Mobility and Conditioning synergy. These builds are useful in both PvE against ARC enemies and PvP skirmishes where stamina, positioning, and durability matter. The Mobility skills help you dodge, sprint, retreat, and reposition quickly during fights. A strong Conditioning investment lets you maintain stamina and health in tough encounters.

Resource Run Skill Tree Build

A Resource Run Build focuses on turning your Raider into a walking salvage and crafting machine. This setup leans heavily into the Survival tree with supporting picks from Conditioning and Mobility. Most points go to the Survival tree to stack as many looting, carrying, and crafting perks as possible. However, the combat effectiveness is reduced compared with PvP or combat builds.

Tank Skill Tree Build

arc raiders gameplay

A Tank Build in Arc Raiders focuses on Conditioning as the primary tree to turn your Raider into a durable powerhouse. This build sacrifices some mobility and looting utility. Allocating points in the Conditioning skill tree builds your stamina, damage tolerance, and resistance to penalties from heavy gear.

Tanks excel when holding objectives or defensive lines where enemies must commit to you. Tanks work best with teammates who can exploit the space you create because weaker teammates benefit from your durability.

Hi, I’m Ali. I started gaming with Max Payne, and it set the tone for my interest in darker, more immersive experiences. I mostly play soulslikes, RPGs, and FPS titles that focus on tight mechanics and pacing.

I have a strong appreciation for game soundtracks and how they shape the overall experience. I’m also a long-time horror fan, across both games and films, with a preference for atmosphere-driven storytelling. This space reflects that passion, exploring games through both their mechanics and the atmosphere they create.
