Best Ways to Farm Coins Arc Raiders

Discover everything you need to know about farming the coins/money in Arc Raiders, including different effective ways.

Coins in Arc Raiders are the main in-game currency. Use them to buy weapons and new useful items. Selling the higher-tier items to the traders allows you to gain a huge chunk of money. However, looting the highly valuable items in Arc Raiders is a difficult task. Move into the different areas of the map to acquire the best loot and sell it to earn coins.

Map modifiers such as Night Raids and Harvest Season directly affect loot quality. Items marked with a diamond in their tooltip are designed for selling. Arc enemies frequently drop shield power cells, and collecting these reduces how often you need to buy shield consumables. In this guide, we’ll discuss the best ways to farm coins in Arc Raiders, including some valuable items to sell.

Best Locations to Loot High-Tier Items

Arc Raiders 1

If you’re desperate to get money to upgrade your stash to the maximum or just to buy things without worrying, I’ve got you covered here. There are so many different loot locations, everyone’s telling you to go somewhere else. While many places will work for many players, there’s one spot that I’ve been looting, which has been giving me a ton of high-tier purple valuable items reliably. They have some of the best sell values in the game.

1. Dam Battlegrounds

If you’re a super early beginner player and you’ve just started on Dam Battlegrounds, the apartment buildings can be some of the best places to start looting, as it’s not a high loot zone. It has less foot traffic for other players, and so you can loot there relatively peacefully. Doing so allows you to get a bunch of decent items and make some good money.

2. Control Tower

If you’re more interested in PvP and higher-tier loot and you’re willing to take that risk, then the control tower in the middle of the damn battlegrounds map is the best place. You can always look out for the blue or green lockers. There’s a bunch of these condensed in the back area on the first floor of this building. They can give you some amazing, valuable loot to sell. Just looting these and getting out before other players get there can often yield you some very good items and money when you go to sell them.

3. Plaza Rosa

Plaza Roza Arc Raiders

Go to the buried city at the Plaza Rosa and loot all of those buildings, and even take out the bastion to get higher-tier loot. But it does require fighting a big Arc robot, and there’s a lot of foot traffic in that zone.

4. Blue Gate (Hot Spot)

You get access to this POI after doing between 15 to 20 raids. This map is super open, and it’s full of Arc robots, and it’s a bit daunting. There are a lot of dangerous areas and PvP going on. The Village is a sleeper location to get rich quickly. The only Arc you’ll pretty much encounter here is the basic drones, the little pop rollers, or the face huggers.

The lower-tier ones that are on the damn battlegrounds map anyway are available there. It’s often completely clear, and you can always just use the buildings to hide from any drones if you need to. So, it’s a pretty peaceful spot when it comes to the AI robots. Also, while players do pass through, there are so many buildings and places to hide that it’s easy to avoid them. If you do take them out, well, they just might have some juicy loot. This loot is a great example of the loot that you will get in this area in the village of Blue Gate.

Hot Spot For Higher Tier Loot

Arc Raiders 2

If you just loot everything in all of the buildings around the area, even the trash cans when they’re available, everything in this zone has a chance to spawn you different loot. In its loot pool are a bunch of valuable items to sell. From gray to green, blue, and even the very rare purple ones are not so rare here.

This means you can make a ton of cash to sell at the end of the raid. So, you can buy whatever gear you want without having to stress about it, or just upgrade your stash to the maximum. My advice is to go to the blue gate map, head over to the village, loot each of the buildings, the shops, the trash cans in between, everything you can, and you’re going to get rich quite quickly.

Even the fertilizer that is in the little piles of dirt nearby is great to pick up. You can loot three at a time, and there are several spots across the zone. These items sell for a thousand each as well and stack up to five. So, it’s another great, valuable item to get you money.

Reinforced Reception

If you’re on the Blue Gate map and you have a good spawn for it, or you’re feeling extra brave, you can also head here inside the Reinforced Reception. The building itself can have a turret inside it. Sometimes there’s a turret in here that you have to take out.

Otherwise, you hop down the zip to the bottom and down. There’ll be a few things to loot around if you want to. It’s a bit of a hot zone for other players, so keep your eyes out and you’ll see a door to breach. Breach this door, and inside is a ton of loot and a guaranteed weapon crate.

There’s a raider hatch that you can use to extract if you bring a key in, which is a much lower-profile way to get out if you want to do some back-to-back farming runs. There are other extracts really close by, so it’s never too much of a struggle.

Sell Quick Use Items

Loot in inventory Arc Raiders

You will find several Quick Use items while exploring the world in Arc Raiders. Selling these extra items to the vendors allows you to gain a huge chunk of money or coins. Sell the Rare grenades if you have them in your inventory to get a good amount of money.

Craft your own grenade after crafting the Explosive Station. Selling 15 Arc Allows in Arc Raiders allows you to earn 3,000 Coins. It’s worth mentioning that it is better to recycle an item than to sell it.

How To Use Coins

Stash Expansion

You can use the coins to upgrade your stash in Arc Raiders. The stash allows you to keep stuff from your successful raids and store all the materials, weapons, and items. You can use the money to purchase different types of items, like Augments from the traders. Use the coins to buy consumables, grenades, weapons, and much more.

How to Farm Baron Husk

Baron Husk

Coins are the main currency in Arc Raiders, used to buy workshop upgrades and equipment from vendors. While selling diamond-marked valuables is a quick way to earn coins, there’s also a really reliable farming method that lets you stack up wealth fast.

Head to the old battleground area on the Dam Battlegrounds map, and you need to farm these big machines called Baron Husk. So, before you jump into a match, you can equip a free loadout only. That is going to prevent you from losing your personal gear if things go wrong. The old battlegrounds can be a hot spot for other players, given that this method of farming coins is spreading around now. So, you want to move carefully, no matter where you spawn. If you spawn inside the area, that is very good.

Follow these steps to farm a Baron Husk in Arc Raiders.

  1. At the center of Old Battleground, you need to find a massive derelict machine called a Baron Husk.
  2. You want to use its robotic limbs to climb up there and breach the top of its head.
  3. Once the breach is complete, immediately dodge roll back or jump backwards.
  4. You must basically get out of the way of the flames.
  5. After it burns out, climb back up onto the head and loot the head for valuable items.
  6. With some luck, you will find epic recyclables that can be sold for a high number of coins.
  7. Make sure to run as quickly as possible to the old battlegrounds, loot the Baron Husk, and gather as many Arc valuables as you possibly can to sell them.

How to Find Arc Pods

Arc Pods

After you’ve looted the Baron Husk and you’ve been careful not to get burned alive, check the area, and there are five or six Arc courier pods. Make sure to breach these one by one, but dodge out of the way after each breach. Sometimes they can discharge electricity randomly, so you’ve got to be careful. Once again, keep your wits about you to get those arc materials. Go back to Sparanza, and you can sell them for some quick coins.

From these pods, you’ve got a really good chance at finding the Rocketeer driver. And this can be an epic-tier item worth 5,000 coins each. You’re not always going to get a fully working Rocketeer driver. Even the damaged or broken ones, you can get 2,000 coins for each damaged rocketeer driver. So, once you’re done looting, you’ve got an extraction point really close. Head to the extraction point just east of the old battleground.

So, the final step, once you’ve extracted safely, you want to sell any epic or unwanted items, and then basically recycle the rest for crafting materials. Using this method, you can easily earn 15,000 to 40,000 coins per run, making it one of the best early game farms in Art Raiders.
