baldurs gate 3 switch 2

The Nintendo Switch 2 is slowly starting to get the major third-party titles since its release. One of the games that was anticipated to arrive on the Switch 2 was Baldur’s Gate 3. Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke revealed on a Reddit thread that Baldur’s Gate 3 will not be coming to the Switch 2.

In the post responding to a fan asking, “Baldur’s Gate 3 for Switch 2? Is it even possible?” Swen responds to the fan saying, “We would have loved to, but it wasn’t our decision to make.”

It is believed that Larian’s relationship with Hasbro has not been healthy and is part of the reason why Baldur’s Gate 3 will not be coming to the platform. NateTheHate shared on X that he had heard last year it may not happen, but he couldn’t confidently verify.

While Baldur’s Gate 3 is not coming to the Switch, Swen Vincke has shared that they will consider bringing Divinity to the platform.

Would you have played Baldur’s Gate 3 on Switch 2?
