Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis Launches Today

This past year remains a fairly occupied year for Final Fantasy players. Already, Square Enix rolled out Final Fantasy: Crisis Core – Reunion in December 2022. Not to mention the most recent Final Fantasy XVI. From our review we wrote: “Whether you are a longtime fan of the series or a newcomer to the world of Final Fantasy, this game is an absolute must-play.”

Additionally, Square Enix confirmed Final Fantasy XIV Online is officially coming to Xbox. Even more is Square Enix CEO Takashi Kiryu sharing a new campaign to roll out its games to the platform is underway. As for current titles enroute to launch, Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is officially here after being announced back in February 2021.

The new title arrives as a mobile exclusive launching on both Google Play Store & App Store. You can watch the launch trailer in the video below:

“Team up your favorite characters and customize each one with iconic gear and weapons to defeat powerful opponents in Solo or Co-op battle mode.” For those that pre-registered, there is a new ‘Ver.1.0.6 Update’ that went live fo both platforms. “Please update your app from your device’s respective storefront in order to reflect this update,” the team writes.
