Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia announced for 3DS

Nintendo has announced that a new Fire Emblem game is on the way for Nintendo 3DS, further proving their continued support for the system. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is inspired by the second game in the series, Fire Emblem Gaiden, which launched exclusively in Japan back in 1992. The game features two protagonists, Alm and Cecila. The game features free roaming, dungeons, and character progression, all of which were staples of Gaiden. Nintendo will also sell amiibo figures for Alm and Celica as can be seen below. The game and amiibo figures will be available on May 19th for all Nintendo 3DS family systems.
