With many news circling around the upcoming Forza Horizon 4, what got fans excited for the open world racer was the Halo event that will be featured in Playground Games’ title.

In the recent Forza Monthly, the new event finally got some camera time showing off what to expect in the upcoming race. The Warthog will be returning from Horizon 3 as you race against a Pelican Gunship. Swapping your avatar for Master Chief for the race continues to set the tone for the upcoming event. It wasn’t mentioned if Master Chief will be available outside of the event for players to customize their avatar.

The Warthog got an upgrade since its debut in the 2016 game, slightly faster before with more control to make driving the vehicle feel less of an nuisance. As you play, you will hear Cortana commenting on the crossover world as it’s littered with Halo-based obstacles.

Along with the exceeded amount of Halo content in this event, the part that works perfectly is the themed skybox placing the iconic Halo ring with the clouds in the horizon.

Forza Horizon 4 will launch on October 2, 2018 for Xbox One and Windows 10.
