“Embark on the Perfect Ninja Vacation!” reads the first title card in the new trailer for Sabotage’s The Messenger Picnic Panic DLC.

The first piece of downloadable content coming to this year’s Indie of the Year title will be introducing a more topical setting: which will include three new levels and bosses to the already wide range of things to do in the game’s main story. And best of all, the upcoming DLC will be available for no charge and will be ready to download at some point in 2019.

If you were unfortunate enough not to play Sabotage’s comedic homage to Ninja Gaiden, you can check out our coverage on the platformer that we did at PAX East earlier this year.

The Messenger is currently available for PC and Nintendo Switch.
