UPDATE: It has been confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V will be expanded and enhanced on Xbox Series X. Rockstar Games recently stated in a press release.

“We are proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto V is coming to a new generation of consoles, including PlayStation 5, in the second half of 2021. “

To start off the PlayStation 5 Showcase, Sony had Rockstar Games start the show with the reveal of Grand Theft Auto 5. The seven year old hit by Rockstar will be getting an enhancement on PlayStation 5 in 2021.

At launch in 2021,  PS5 owners will get GTA Online for free and starting today PlayStation Plus owners will be getting $1M in GTA Cash until Grand Theft Auto 5 releases in 2021.

No other details were revealed on this news just yet from Rockstar games, but we anticipate more will come.
