gta-online-freemode-update[1]

A new trailer for Grand Theft Auto Online was released by Rockstar revealing more of the new update and when it’ll be released. Until now, all we know was that the Rockstar Editor will be available with the update. But now we know there’s plenty more that’s coming with the update as well. Such as new  freemode events and Adversary Modes.

Freemode Events:

King of the Castle – A free for all event where you must you must conquer the selected area and defend it as others try to attack and take away your territory.

Hunt the Beast – One must volunteer to transform into a faster and stronger character that resembles a werewolf in a letterman jacket and escape as you’re hunted down in the game.

Adversary Modes:

Hunting Pack: As part of a team, you’re assigned to deliver a rigged vehicle while you have others pursuing and trying to take the vehicle out. And if it drops below the minimum speed, it’ll explode.

Cross the Line – Facing off another squad across a neutral zone, you have to attempt to fight through the enemy’s territory to win the game while both teams are heavily-armed.

And because this update is taking advantage of last generation’s hardware, there will be no loading screens, menus or lobbies. But because of that, both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 will be left behind when the update releases on September 15th, 2015. For Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
