
Over the past month, television adaptations for popular video games continue to take over the internet. On Amazon’s Prime Video, the long-anticipated Fallout released its 8-episode run giving players and new fans a spectacle of the game’s universe and expanding the lore beyond the current standing titles. Shortly after the show’s debut, Amazon gave the official green light for a second season for Fallout.
In a grander scale for the number of viewers for the show, Fallout did certainly shake the platform. A report that went out this week revealed that Fallout generated more than 65 million viewers in just over two weeks. The milestone brought the show to #2 most-viewed behind Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Fallout also shares April with the release of Knuckles on Paramount+ as well.
New findings from X user @AllCristina2 via FlixPatrol shares that Knuckles was placed #1 on overall Paramount+ viewer count. This accounted for April 28th and for April 29th as well. Today, April 30th, Knuckles has since then fallen below to #2.
Per regions, Knuckles has landed more than two dozen different countries being the most-viewed television show on Paramount+. Those being Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Ireland, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
Previously, series executive producer Toby Asher did speak on how these side projects will stand for the larger scale mapped ahead for Sonic the Hedgehog.
