Looks like Nintendo has more merch coming.

Nintendo has filed for a trademark for Cappy. They plan to use the trademark for clothing, hats, toys, Christmas decorations and more. We’re talking about the original form of Cappy seen above in the featured picture, and not Cappy as Mario’s hat.
Super Mario Odyssey has been out for over a week now and one thing people seem to like are the outfits for Mario. Odyssey offers a lot of options for clothes compared to other Mario games we’ve seen in the past.
