Fans of cyber-noir adventures have a new reason to be excited. Critical Hit Games and PLAION have released the latest gameplay trailer for their upcoming title, Nobody Wants to Die, which is set to launch on July 17th for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.

The trailer provides a glimpse into the game’s signature investigative mechanics, showcasing the captivating tools players will use to unravel mysteries in a dystopian city. Highlighted in the trailer are several innovative investigation methods, including a UV lamp for analyzing blood splatter patterns, a handheld X-ray device for uncovering hidden secrets, and time manipulation techniques. These tools are demonstrated in the game’s first crime scene, with hints of more complex investigations to come later in the game.

Grzegorz Goleń, CEO and Lead Game Designer at Critical Hit Games, emphasized the team’s focus on delivering a compelling narrative and graphical experience.

“Our priority is to deliver a great narrative and graphical experience in our dystopian world, in Nobody Wants to Die, we give the player an opportunity to investigate a killer and uncover the dark secrets of the city, using the innovative in-game tools and their own moral compass as a guide.”
