PUBG announced that it will be ending support for PUBG Console on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 starting on November 13, 2025. While support is ending for the previous-gen consoles, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions of PUBG will still be supported.
The developer said this is a necessary step toward aligning PUBG Console with current-gen consoles. It will allow players to have a more stable gameplay environment on console and ensure a smoother experience with future updates.
Following the transition, console players will see improved visuals and stable frame rates.
“It weighs heavily on us to deliver this news to our console players who have enjoyed PUBG on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for so many years,” said PUBG Corporation. “We still vividly remember the epic battles, the heart-stopping moments, and the camaraderie that brought us together. We are deeply grateful for every moment you’ve spent with us over the past eight years.”

They made it clear that your existing account data and purchased items will be saved. Once you log in to a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S console at any time after the transition, you can keep playing with your existing account with no transfer process required.
