Report: Modern Warfare 2 & 3 Maps To Make Their Way To Modern Warfare 4.

It’s that time of year where we find out rumors about the next Call of Duty and this year is Infinity Ward’s turn. Recently there was a report about Modern Warfare 2 Remastered happening this year for sure after reports were going out last year. Then sometime before that was out there we saw a possible tease of Modern Warfare 4 which would make sense to launch the remaster with. Now according to Gaming INTEL, maps and weapons from Modern Warfare 2 & 3 will be making its way into the upcoming one.

The outlet says Modern Warfare 4 will be to the Modern Warfare series as Black Ops 4 was to the Black Ops series, bringing back old fan favorites such as maps in a remastered form. Their sources said regarding which maps will be added has yet to be determined since the release date is too far out. This isn’t a surprise as most games such as Halo bring in older maps into their newest games or even most of the weapons.

The sources at Gaming INTEL didn’t say specific weapons either, but you can make the guess until we hear an official announcement this Spring. Since Modern Warfare 2 Remastered won’t have multiplayer it would make sense to just add those maps in the newest version. For reports like this we’d usually say take it with a grain of salt, but with Call of Duty the leaks are more than likely correct.
