Days Gone nearly hours away and it’s best to prepare those who are ready to jump into the zombie-infested world that Bend Studios have been working on these past few years. But instead of survival pointers or tips & tricks for the undead-swarmed open-world title, this will ready those who might be short on space for the anticipated game.
Players who are scarce on room for their PlayStation 4, it’s unfortunate to tell you that Days Gone won’t be easy on you as the game’s file size requires at least a 67 GB download for when the game arrives tomorrow.
Though the living dead survival title does not surpass the whopping 100+ GB download that Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 obligated fans to clear up for the follow-up prequel, Days Gone is still asking for a lot. This is excluding the Day One patch that will drop alongside the base game this Friday, which is said to remove many of the bugs that are currently living within the title.
Despite the slightly overwhelming size that the game’s download client will take up, you shouldn’t really be surprised seeing how much resources go into these AAA titles and will ask for more than smaller developed games.
In other Days Gone-related news, Bend Studio revealed that the first wave of free downloadable content will be dropping for their latest title as soon as this June with new challenges and the more struggling ‘Survival’ mode.
Days Gone will be out for PlayStation 4 on April 26, 2019.
