September looks to be a big month for Sony as rumors as of the last week indicate there will be a State of Play. According to Billbil-kun from Dealabs, the PS5 Pro will be announced in the first half of September. The insider has given details regarding the powerful version of the PlayStation 5.

Billbil-kun confirms the official name of the console will be called “PS5 Pro”. The design will feature the same white cover plates as the other PlayStation 5 consoles. It will have 2 USB-C ports and a power button on the front.

What’s different about this console is that there are three black stripes in the middle of the outer facades of the PS5 Pro. It’s almost similar to the PS5 Slim that was released last year. The insider says the PlayStation 5 Pro visual has slightly more thickness to it.

From the images that Dealabs saw, there was no disc player on the PS5 Pro. However, it’s likely just like the PS5 Slim that you can purchase the disc player separately. Having the PlayStation 5 Pro launch as a “digital only” console helps Sony sell it for cheaper.

Lastly, the outlet confirms there will be no special controller. It will be the ordinary DualSense Controller that comes with the console.
