Universal is reportedly working on a live-action Zelda movie

The Legend of Zelda has been an iconic title over the last 30 years and with the recent launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the IP has never been more popular. Rumors in the past suggested that a Zelda film was in the works from Illumination and Universal which is believable with the recent Super Mario Bros. Movie that ended up being a success. 

A new report came out from MyTimeToShineHello on Twitter that Universal is working on a live-action Legend of Zelda movie. 

This leaker has been sharing interesting information over the last several weeks including a report that a Hogwarts Legacy sequel is in the works. As always we have to take this report with some grain of salt. 

It wouldn’t be shocking to see a Legend of Zelda movie come out in the future as its behind Mario as a popular IP for Nintendo.
