Yesterday, Epic Games revealed three new games coming to Fortnite including Fortnite Festival which is a successor to Rock Band and developed by Harmonix. It will be released on December 9, 2023, featuring The Weeknd to start things off for the new game.

Apparently, there was some “confusion” in the community regarding the PEGI Rating description for the game when it refers to sexual references. Here is what Epic Games had to say on X (formerly Twitter):

“Can’t believe we need to post this but – there’s no ‘sex’ in Fortnite Festival.

Our PEGI ratings descriptor refers to sexual references in lyrical content.”

It’s no surprise there might be sexual references in songs that will be presented in Fortnite Festival and most people should know that when the rating refers to ‘sex’.
