GTA Trilogy hits 18 million downloads on mobile

In December, the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy came to the Netflix games platform on December 14, 2023, making its debut for mobile devices. The trilogy was originally released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Series XlS.

According to MobileGamer.biz, the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy has been downloaded 18 million times across iOS and Android. The most downloaded game in the trilogy is Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas with 11.6 million downloads with 9.1 million on iOS and 2.6 million on Android. 

GTA: Vice City is the next most downloaded with 4.1 million downloads. Netflix has stated that this was one of their most successful launches to date when it comes to installs and engagement.

Netflix said there are 90 games in development with 86 already available. With the success of GTA on the platform it will be interesting to see if other developers and publishers will jump on board.
