The best game of 2022, Elden Ring is reportedly getting a mobile game that will be developed by Tencent. According to Reuters, Tencent acquired licensing rights for the game by FromSoftwre in 2022 and has set up a team of a few dozen people to develop a prototype.
The outlet also reports that Tencent wants to make this Elden Ring mobile game free-to-play with in-app purchases, similar to Genshin Impact which is developed by its Chinese rival miHoYo. Elden Ring was the second best-selling game of 2022 selling 20 million units with each unit costing $60.00 USD.
No other details about this rumored mobile game have been shared. Tencent and FromSoftware did not share anything public just yet.
