Krafton has been busy recently after they acquired Tango Gameworks from Microsoft to continue the Hi-Fi Rush series. Now, Krafton has signed a licensing agreement with Palworld developer, Pocketpair to expand Palworld to mobile devices.
The announcement stated that Krafton plans to faithfully reinterpret and implement the original’s main fun elements to fit the mobile environment. The project will be handled by the development team of ‘PUBG STUDIOS,’ a creative studio under Krafton.
There has been a lot of controversy about Pocketpair lately as Nintendo and the Pokemon Company filed a lawsuit against the developer. The reasoning for the lawsuit is to seek an injunction against infringement and compensation because Palworld infringes multiple patent rights.
Palworld is available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
