Krafton Inc. acquired Tango Gameworks Studio from Microsoft in 2024 after they had parted ways with the studio and Hi-Fi Rush among a couple of other studios. It was announced on New Year’s Eve that Tango Gameworks would be renamed to “Tango Gameworks Inc.”

While this has fans excited for a Hi-Fi Rush 2, it also caught the eyes of talented individuals from Crush 40. The hard rock band is most known for its music in the Sonic video game series responded to the news by Tango Gameworks saying they’d love to work on Hi-Fi Rush 2. The post came from Johnny Gioeli on X (Twitter) where he says he wants to work with them.

Before Tango Gameworks was shutdown by Microsoft they were ready to pitch Hi-Fi Rush 2 and now it will officially become a reality. As for the music part of the game for now we’d expect the same composers unless something changes.

Would you like to see Crush 40 help with the music on Hi-Fi Rush 2?
