Horizon 3 is reportedly releasing in 2027

PlayStation Studios has been quiet with new game releases over the last year, but it looks like its studios are busy cooking. According to reliable leaker, TCMF Games on X (Twitter), Guerrilla Games has been developing Horizon 3, which is set to potentially release in 2027.

The leaker suggests that Horizon 3 could potentially be a cross-gen game with the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 6 launch. The story is set to focus on Nemesis, which was teased by Horizon Forbidden West. It’s also claimed that Horizon the Online Game is going to release before Horizon 3.

As always, we must take reports like this with a grain of salt. However, it would make sense that Guerrilla Games has been working on a new Horizon game, given how successful the franchise has been.

There have been a few live service projects that Sony was planning, which then got canceled. A Horizon MMO title was reportedly planned, but was canceled. In other Horizon-related news, Sony announced there will be a live-action Horizon Zero Dawn movie, with the project already underway. It will be from Columbia Pictures and PlayStation Productions.
