Sony announced the official State of Play gameplay deep dive for its biggest game of 2025, Ghost of Yotei. The sequel to Ghost of Tsushima will be released on PlayStation 5 on October 2.

The Ghost of Yotei State of Play presentation will feature nearly 20 minutes of gameplay. Presenting the gameplay will be Jason Connell and Nate Fox, the Creative Directors of Sucker Punch.

The blog from PlayStation also confirms they will not only be sharing more about Atsu’s quest for vengeance, but they will be showing off her new weapons, new ways to personalize your exploration, new special modes, and more.

The Ghost of Yotei State of Play will go live on July 10 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET and will be streamed on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube.

In other news, Sony said PlayStation Plus Pricing will continue to see further changes, but they cannot promise exclusive releases day one.
