Forza Horizon 6 Japan setting might have been leaked

The best part of the Forza Horizon series is where they are set. While Forza Horizon 6 has not been revealed by Playground Games, the assumption is that the game has been in development. Today, it was apparently leaked through an Instagram post that Forza Horizon 6 will take place in Japan.

Australian car import company Cult & Classic made a post on Instagram sharing, “We have Cody here from Forza Horizon shooting cars for the next installation in the series.”

It continues, “As there are no late model Kei cars in America, he has flown out from the states to use our cars as the basis for their digital versions”.

The post has been taken down on Insstagram. While Japan was specifically mentioned, the type of car they are looking at is definitely Japanese, hinting at the possible new location in Forza Horizon 6.

Playground Games or Microsoft has not responded to this leak. It will be a while until we officially find out since the developer has been working on Fable alongside Forza Horizon. 

In the meantime, Forza Horizon 5 has been very successful since its release on Xbox Series, PC, and now PS5. It is PlayStation’s best-selling game of 2025 so far.
