More than a month after this year’s E3, fans of the biggest game developers are looking ahead towards some of the most anticipated titles that are slated for the turn of generational hardware. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves as the new wave of consoles are still more than a year away, as later this week Bethesda and MachineGames are prepping for the release of co-op spin-off title Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
However, those on the PC platform are in for a surprise as the publisher has revealed that the game will be coming a day early compared to its controller-holding counterparts.

Though the news is welcoming for fans using a keyboard and mouse, Bethesda did not give a clear reason for why the game will be dropping this Thursday on PC. Looking at the current schedule slated for the publisher, this could coincide with Quakecon which also kicks off the same day as the PC version’s launch, so PC players might have a special treat dropping that day as well?
Atop of MachineGames changing the formula for this upcoming title for the Wolfenstein series by introducing cooperative gameplay with a friend, Bethesda has also reached a hand out to Dishonored developer Arcane Studios for the level outlay for the Paris-set installment. Referencing games from Arcane’s portfolio, these levels are expected to be open with a less linear composition to give variety on how the player(s) can choose to play.
