Rise of The Tomb Raider game director has left Crystal Dynamics and has gone to Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward. “After working on two amazing games, my family and I have decided to return to Southern California and start a new adventure.” Horton also worked as senior art director on the studio’s 2013 Tomb Raider reboot. Infinity Ward is expected to be working on the next Call of Duty game, as the last two entries in the series were developed by Treyarch and Sledgehammer. It’s going to be interesting what Infinity Ward comes up with because they haven’t had this much time to make a Call of Duty game before. Let’s hope it’s something different and unique.
Rise of The Tomb Raider is coming to PC on January 28 and PlayStation 4 later this year.
