Since the reveal of Battlefield V this E3, many fans of the franchise have been eager to get their hands on the game. The recent closed alpha test gave players the first taste of what to expect this time coming around with one map showcased in the E3 trailer, Arctic Fjord.
Following the end of the closed alpha, giving DICE feedback on the game and better preparing it for the final project. In a blog post, the studio has talked about the results from the alpha test that continue fixes on the game until its launch for matchmaking and server stability. Along with help bringing balance to other in-game mechanics that were exercised in the closed alpha.
Such as tweaking revives to feel less clunky and slow, ammunition availability depending on the class, and working on making reinforcements less abundant as players were able to call them in pretty early when playing Conquest. Time To Kill (TTK) will also be worked on as half gave feedback regarding it being to easy to kill/die, and the other half saying it’s just right. And with it varying depending on the gametype played, DICE will continue to tweak this to make the game better responsive to how many directions you’re being shot from.

With how limited the alpha was, the developer has announced that the open beta for Battlefield V will be coming in September along with its presence for Gamescom the month before. To be assumed for the upcoming beta will include more additions to the game besides fixes like more gamemodes, maps and weapons.
Battlefield V is one of the several titles listed to be marketed by Microsoft in our exclusive back in April.
Battlefield V will be available for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on October 19, 2018.
