DanielRPK has leaked a new multiplayer First-Person Shooter that will release in 2026 and will feature unique hero characters that use special abilities. The name of this game is Breakthrough developed by Back Pain Games and the logo for this new title has already been leaked by insider Kurakasis on X.

Here is the information that DanielRPK shared (thanks Reddit):
“Breakthrough is a competitive online FPS multiplayer game with unique hero characters that use special abilities to either defend or attack highly destructible environments. Breakthrough’s world is a future fantasy with a clean and simplified stylized aesthetic where two factions are at war with one another. The attacking side is an aggressive and militaristic force occupying the heritage lands of the defending factions. The defending side has retaken their heritage sites and are dutybound to protect them from being retaken by the attacking force. Breakthrough is built inside of Unreal Engine using the C++ language as well as a custom toolset built inside of the Apparance Engine for dynamic destruction that’s highly flexible and oriented towards player creativity. Breakthrough has many FPS innovations such as: fast deploy reinforcements, aim speed dictated by movement, aim fatigue from holding angles, information tool replenishment, dynamic defender information tools, and reinforcement granularity.”
For now, Breakthrough remains unannounced, but it does seem like this game aims to be on par with other modern First-Person Shooters. With presentations coming in June with the Summer Game Fest, Xbox Showcase, and others it’s possible we could get a tease there.
