EA to announce Skate Early Access release date on Tuesday

It has been a few years since Electronic Arts aimed to bring the Skate franchise back with a brand-new game. They established Full Circle as a dedicated studio in early 2021. While we have gotten news on the game sporadically, we haven’t gotten a release date.

On Sunday, EA announced that the Skate Early Access release date will be revealed on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. The reveal for the release date will go live on YouTube at 9:00 AM PT and 12:00 PM ET.

There have been ongoing closed playtests for Skate on PC and consoles, and it was expected that the Early Access for Skate would be available this year.

Skateboarding games have been making their return. Activision recently released Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 in July. The genre might be full of nostalgia in 2025, but there has been a large number of players waiting for the return of skate.
