The best deal in gaming might have more options for fans. A survey that was posted on ResetEra asks users if they would be willing to spend less for Xbox Game Pass, but accept the fact there might be some differences from what the service currently offers.
This option would let customers pay a lower price, but the difference is that you would receive first party games from Xbox Game Studios on a 6 month delay. As opposed to now if you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass you receive all first party games on the same day it comes out. Along with a low tier subscription there would also be integrated ads as part of it.

It looks like the service would be around 3 dollars per month as well.
Since it is a survey it means nothing is final and it seems Microsoft wants to just see what everyone’s thoughts are across the world to try and expand the service as much as possible.
Xbox Game Pass has benefited games since it first debut including most recent addition, High On Life which has become one of the most popular titles in its first week for the service. In a report from October it revealed that Microsoft generated roughly $2.9 Billion in 2021 from Xbox Game Pass Console users.
Recently in 2022 there hasn’t been a ton of action for first party games from Xbox Game Studios, but that could change in 2023 with a game like Starfield coming out and hopefully others.
