Riot Games has announced they will be bringing their PC FPS Valorant to consoles soon. A job listing for Senior Game Designer, specially for Valorant on console, was listed by the developer.

Valorant was originally released on PC back in June 2020 and has been a breakout hit ever since. It’s a difficult game to master compared to other FPS games, but the fun of the gameplay mitigates a lot of the frustration that generally tends to accompany the genre. Currently, it stands with a metacritic score of 80 for critics. The user rating, currently at 4.9, is a bit low with more unfavorable reviews than positive ones, but a lot of that is due to the game’s difficulty which was a chief complaint upon release opposed to quality of the game. This is also ratings on PC, which tend to be much different when the game is ported to console.

Valorant is known for its mix of story content and FPS mechanics blended with a exotic color scheme and animation sequence. No other shooter has done what Valorant has done, which also equates for some of the negative coverage. After all, people and change, right? Check out the gameplay below if you are new to the game. If you wish to apply for the position, you can do so here as well.
