Halo Infinite’s Big Team Battle game mode was shown off in glimpses and it’s confirmed that this new and improved BTB mode is 12 vs 12 instead of the classic 8 vs 8 matchup in the past. The two new equipment shown in the new trailer was the Threat Sensor is an area-of-effect support device that periodically pulses and illuminates enemy players within it’s radius while the aptly named Repulsor can be used to deflect projectiles and anything else that gets in the way.

Keep in mind that equipment will be placed throughout the map, so players won’t spawn with those abilities built in bringing back the days of Halo 3 when it comes to using equipment. Ranked and Social matchmaking playlists will also be making a return to Halo Infinite’s multiplayer.
Lastly, a big question for Halo Infinite is will there be a beta? Well, 343i has confirmed that they will be doing a number of technical previews via the Halo Insider program
